“Research Advisory Committee” (RAC) is being constituted with experts from various relevant academic and research institutes to render advice and set up guidelines for future growth on all research related issues of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta. The committee will provide valuable support in activities like clinical research, basic research, identifying thrust/core areas of research activity, development of research facility/proposals etc.

Scope of the Research Advisory Committee, FAA Medical College, Barpeta:
1. To provide support in formulating policy guidelines and direction for the growth and development of research activities
2. To advice on thrust areas and disciplines for introducing research programmes and related activities for future research developments
3. To suggest measures for improving existing infrastructural facilities both for academic and sponsored research and enhancing research ambiance
4. To guide and advice on projects /grant proposal to State or Central Government
5. Any other related issue
